Sunday at #BlogHer12… #freshproduce #brunch #clevertech

Now that my children are all in school for a full day and I am back to work more or less full time, I have no time for shopping. I’d rather write a blogpost than drive to the mall. In fact I’d rather clean, cook, do laundry, or do anything than shop!

This past July I was contacted by Fresh Produce Clothes about doing a review. Since I’m usually good at estimating what size I will need, buying clothing online is my preferred shopping method.

I set out to find a Fresh Produce Clothes outfit to review. Would I choose a beach dress for our upcoming vacation? Or what about a casual clothing outfit for one of the events I was invited to at #BlogHer12? With #BlogHer12 on the horizon, I had a summer dress in mind. Something I could wear to an early evening event or perhaps a brunch. Summery and yet stylish. I focused my attention on dresses, particularly summer dresses.

Fresh Produce Clothing has a range of dresses in colors ranging from pastel to vibrant prints. As I clicked from one dress to the next I was struck by how much I liked all of them. Not glitzy. Not matronly. Very well tailored. Not party dress-ish. Just right for a summer party.

I wear a size that I would prefer not to wear. Anyone who is still hoping against hope to lose the “baby weight” can sympathize with me, I’m sure. While I’m wearing a size I’d rather not wear I still want to look good in what I wear. Fresh Produce Clothes plus size outfits are just the right mix of stylish outfits to casual separates that fit not only your size, but your budget.

After clicking from this dress to that dress, I settled on the Sunshine Dress in Augustine in Peri. As you can see from the picture above, the Sunshine Dress in Augustine fits well…it’s a loose fitting style but I still felt dressed up. I wore it to the Girls Who Tech Brunch at the very swanky Hotel Mondrian in New York City. The dress was perfect for a hot summer day. I was a bit rushed as I left the hotel and even after sitting in a hot cab for ages and wrangling more suitcases and bags than I care to remember, I still emerged from the cab in a dress that was not creased at all. As I ascended the elevator to the rooftop of the Hotel Mondrian, I experienced a sense of relaxation. I was ready to be a lady who brunches!
