Review & Giveaway: Progresso High Fiber Soup — My Blog Anniversary

Tuesday, November 17, 2009

dscn1267A month or two ago I was invited to tour the General Mills kitchen. A special part of the tour was cooking in the test kitchen. After we cooked our Spicy Taco dish, it was time to sample some General Mills favorites. One of my favorite samples was Progresso soup — the High Fiber content soup. I particularly liked the Chicken Tuscany flavor.

I found out that there are four new, great tasting Progresso soups that have 28% of the recommended Daily Value of fiber per serving (7 grams) and have no added MSG* or artificial flavors. The new varieties include Chicken Tuscany, Creamy Tomato Basil, Hearty Vegetable and Noodles, and Homestyle Minestrone.

Here at the Musings from Me house, we eat soup yearround. My oldest has a particular love of soup. She likes to walk around eating a bowl of soup after she comes home from school.

progresso-high-fiber-prize-packThe teen is always cold – soup warms her up. On cold winter days or busy weekend lunchtimes, our lunch of choice is soup. Progresso soup is flavorful for the kids, but made with ingredients that are interesting for the parents to enjoy.

GIVEAWAY: Would you like to try Progresso Chicken Tuscany soup? I have a prize pack to giveaway of a sample of the Chicken Tuscany soup along with two branded soup mugs and two branded spoons.  The mugs are huge with a cute handle with a thumb rest! For this giveaway, each comment equals an entry.
