I hate that I always procrastinate in doing my taxes. But I procrastinate because I just don’t enjoy doing them and I dread finding out if I am going to have to pay.

I can’t say there is anything I love about doing taxes, except maybe finding out I am getting money back. But then I get upset with myself for not having the correct amount withheld and knowing that I gave the government a no interest loan. There is lots I hate, but probably just the fact that it takes up my time is the biggest.

I hate having to keep all the paper for a year, and then needing to take over the dining room table for a day or two (or a week) to sort and fill.

The thing I HATE about doing taxes is that feeling I get when I try to read some paragraph of the instructions and suddenly I feel like I am struggling with a foreign language. I would love to try using the computer to do our taxes this year!

The thing I hate most about doing taxes is the whole doing of the taxes part. I mean seriously… the gubment takes 27% of my paycheck each week, then I have to give my stuff away to charity so that I don’t have to pay Uncle Sam even more every 4-15. Then, Uncle Sam spends my money on killing Iraqis, giving it to Leroy and his 18 kids from 12 different mothers, none of which have jobs, and teaches Spanish to illegal immigrants in my schools. It makes me feel all warm and happy inside knowing I can work my butt off and make all that happen. It just kills me to write that check to the Feds, then to the State, every year. Seriously. Its killing me.
