On the plane to Orlando

Friday’s conversation with Coach Dad was brief. You see Coach Dad was driving back and forth to pickup and dropoff kids at the middle school for the Midnight Madness basketball tournament. He was rushed. Stressed. Beset by cellphone connectivity problems. Stuck in the car for hours. In other words, he was me.

Last night, I had a longer conversation with him before we lost the signal. All is well at home. I expect nothing less. Coach Dad is on the homefront while I am here in Orlando. He has his kids under control. The kid and I are having the time of our lives.

We’ll swap stories on Tuesday about our adventures!
