Birthday Parties Through the Years

For years we always played Pin the Tail, Pass the Parcel, etc. The kids loved it since many parties were held at locations and we had ours at home. Once my oldest turned 8 we mostly did sleepovers. This year at 14 she opted not to have a party. My son is 6 and most of his parties are at gymnastics places — my house is not boy-proof! Well, actually it wasn’t girl-proof either, but back when my girls were his age, I would convert my familyroom and kitchen in to a party room and eating area for the brithday. At one point I had 3 sets of kiddie tables and chairs!
